Regular physical activity provides important health benefits for all of us. It can help you strengthen your heart, build strong muscles and bones, improve coordination, relieve stress, improve your mood, and help you feel better about yourself. Many activities including hiking, walking, swimming, gardening, running, dancing and going to a gym could qualify as exercise.

New York State Office of Mental Health Wellness Toolkit

The New York State Office of Mental Health has released a Wellness Toolkit. Sections of the site entitled Stop Smoking, Practice Prevention, Increase Activity, and Improve Nutrition contain links to other health information sites. The Toolkit also provides the ability to subscribe to an email list.
